Tommaso Puccetti received a master's degree (cum laude) in Computer Science, specializing in "Resilient and Secure Cyber-Physical Systems," from the University of Florence, Italy, in 2021.
Currently, he holds a research grant from the University of Florence on the topic of "Design and Evaluation of Secure Systems and Applications for the Railway Domain" and is a second-year PhD student at the same university. He is primarily active in the study of safety-critical systems and their verification and validation processes guided by industry standards.
His research interests include Machine Learning (ML) and aspects related to the security and safety of components operating within these systems, as well as defensive mechanisms such as intrusion detection.
The title of his ongoing thesis is "Early Detection of Unknown Attacks with Machine Learning Algorithms for Structured Data"
